So I've been playing Monster Hunter Tri for a few weeks and I'm having a blast. I don't really game online but I gave it a try tonight, playing with some random people. I just want to know if anybody has this game, because I want to play with people I know.

As I opened it, I was expecting the worst. Then I saw the neutral red w/tiny polka dot fabric and I was like "YES!!!". This haul is over 47,250 JPY not counting the jewelry and star pin because they had no price tags. I hope everything fits! The only thing I might sell are the socks because I'm not really a fan of striped socks, and IMO the bright red doesn't really match the jsk.

So there it is, my first brand LP. Not too shabby.

I was browsing the English Rakuten site when I came across this Maxicimam JSK from their Lovely Size line:

Link: http://en.item.rakuten.com/maxicimam/lv1008/

I know that this particular collection is for plus sized girls. While I don't consider myself plus sized, I'm still bigger than the average Japanese girl. I hoped that maybe I can at least fill out the minimum measurements, but then I saw this: "Bust 105 ~ 125cm, 90 West (waist??) ~ 120cm". Way over my measurements, I'll be drowning in this dress! First time I had to pass at a brand dress because it was too big, lol.

Today is my day off so I was pretty happy to find out that my Meta LP (first LP ever!) was on its way to me. Usually the postal worker stops at my house around 2:30-3:30 pm. So imagine my surprise when I went outside at 1:50 to take out the trash and saw one of those "attempted delivery" slips...aaarghsldfhhjkds!!!eleven!!

Granted my doorbell is broken, but I covered it with tape, so it should be friggin obvious that it can't be used. Still, will it hurt them to at least knock?? That's what the knocker on my door is for, fool.

Because of their incompetence, I have to make a trip to the post office tomorrow to pick up my package.

What the hell does that mean? How can I get back to the sender if I can't even read the darn thing?

The good: Even though I got there pretty late (damn subway), I still had a lot of fun meeting other lolitas and just walking around taking pictures.

The bad: OMG. While in the festival I got complemented several times, it was the complete opposite once I was outside. Granted I was wearing a very sweet coordinate (Angelic Pretty's Powder Rose skirt), but I was laughed at all the way home. The last time I was brutally made fun of was in grade school :(

Edit: Another thing to add to the bad list is that a strap on my brand new shoe broke. Hope the cobbler can fix it.

Just got back from Dances of Vice and I am starving. Wolfing down some toast and oatmeal. I don't know how I was able to get through the day with just an orange juice, cranberry spritzer, and Black Russian. I guess this is what I get from staying up late at Yolanda's the night before, wake up late afternoon, then rush home to get ready.

There was a lolita who was kind enough to drive me to the subway station after the party. Too bad I can't find her LJ because I want to leave her a thank you note.

Edit: I just remembered, she told me her name was Gina. Anyone know who she is?

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm waiting for my cousin to build me a new computer, or that I've been using my Wii to go online for about a month, I would love to go into greater detail about what's been going on these past two days. But as it stand, I had a blast attending the fashion show and Tokyo Rebel's Misako Aoki meet and greet. I'm a newbie in this fashion, and it's not very often that I get to wear my dresses. That's why I was really happy that I got to wear lolita for two days in a row. Wish I could wear it every day though.

Pictures and videos coming soon. As in as soon as I get my new computer.

Also forgot to add that I met some really nice people. It's more fun when you know people who are into the fashion, corny as it sounds.

It's actually a stock photo of Medusa's head necklace from this jewelry store: www.bittersweetsny.com
They sell these odd and macabre pieces like earthworm bracelets and pearl necklaces with snake's tongue charm. I've always wanted one of their vampire fang rings and sword necklaces but I just never got around to. The only piece I know I'm never going to get even though it's my favorite is the one in my icon. At $2000, it's just way out of my league.

So, I'm expecting my Jewel Tree Bouquet OP and Meta's Happy Bouquet to arrive in the mail. I'm very excited because they are my first printed brand dresses. I just hope JT fits me because it's my dream dress even though I've only started getting into lolita several months ago.

Whoever is reading this is probably thinking I have such disparaging tastes. Floral dresses and odd/gothic jewelry? Yeah, they kinda don't mix. My regular clothes aren't even gothic. But I always tend to buy things that catch my eye even though they might generally be considered not cute or sometimes even ugly. XD

Oh by the way,
